Description
Reggie has been returned from his adoptive home recently due to his owner not being able to manage his separation anxiety & not getting along with the resident dog. Reggie originally came to Many Tears back in July this year due to his owners ill health but we were told he has been passed from pillar to post between different homes prior to this
Reggie is back in a foster home with a staff member who has to bring him to the rescue 5 days a week when working. He will remain there until his perfect home comes along, but he is extremely stressed returning to the kennels during the days
Reggie is housetrained, but since being returned from his home, has had a few little accidents. He walks lead beautifully and will happily trot along by the side of you!
He really is a little sweetheart, he truly loves nothing more than snuggling up to you, having head tickles & gazing into your eyes as he drifts off to sleep. He’s a cuddle bug, and such a perfect little lap dog. We’d like him to be homed as an ONLY DOG, so he can have all the love & attention he deserves all to himself
Reggie does have a lot of energy due to his age & breed – he loves to play fetch, he thoroughly enjoys puzzle toys to keep his mind stimulated, and will do anything for a treat. He loves to show off his tricks – “sit”, “paw”, “lie down” & “roll over”!
Reggie has never had anything permanent, and during his short time in this world, he’s never known a “forever” – which we can now understand where his need to constantly be with his people comes from
Reggie really is the sweetest little lad who just wants to be loved – and in return he will love you just as much. It breaks our hearts how many times in his life he has been let down and disappointed by humans yet he still has a burning desire to always make you aware how loved & wanted you are by him. I really think it’s Reggie’s time to be wanted, and this time – forever
