Meet adoptable Clarence! This 3-year-old, 17-lb mixed breed pup is a certified snuggle bug who is looking forward to a calm, peaceful life. Clarence was found as a stray outside of LA County before landing in a local shelter. Now safe in our care, he’s taking his time settling in and showing us what a gentle, easygoing little guy he is. ⁠

You’ll usually find Clarence lounging in a sunny spot, coexisting peacefully with other dogs, or nuzzling up to someone for snuggles. He loves playing with toys and will wag his tail or lie down and ask for pets. Since he’s still getting comfortable at our Adoption Center (and recovering from a case of kennel cough that he picked up at the shelter), we’re learning more each day. Clarence is working on his training basics and walks well on a leash with a little encouragement. He would love a calm home where he can be a cozy, happy couch potato.
