Meet Adoptable Ferry! This 1-year-old, 18-lb Maltese mix is a gentle, sensitive sweetheart. Ferry gave birth to 4 puppies in the shelter. An overcrowded shelter is not a safe place for a mom and her babies, so we brought this little family back to our rescue. Her puppies, the Transportation litter, have all been adopted, and now it’s Mama Ferry’s turn to find a loving forever home. ⁠

After everything she’s been through, this resilient girl is learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. She is a sweet, adorable pup who loves getting pets from her people. She can be timid in new environments, but once she’s comfortable, she blossoms. She walks beautifully on a leash and is learning to enjoy spending time in her crate. ⁠

Ferry is working on building her confidence and will thrive with patience and adopters who understand that healing takes time she would also do best in a home with at least one other dog . If you’re looking for a gentle companion who wants to be your loyal shadow, ferry could be your girl .
